As CTO and General Counsel, Marc brings a unique blend of technical and legal expertise. He's a California-licensed attorney focused on AI and technology transactions, serving as fractional GC to startups, SaaS companies, and AI-driven businesses navigating contracts, privacy, and fast-moving regulation.

Marc is the inaugural Chair of the Beverly Hills Bar Association's AI & the Law section and regularly presents CLEs on AI legal issues. His legal analysis on AI training and copyright was published in The Marin Lawyer (June 2025) and is available on SSRN.

Before law, Marc was a venture-backed founder and product manager. He's built and shipped software, negotiated enterprise contracts from the operator side, and continues to build apps and tools alongside his legal work. He handles Finnly's technical infrastructure and product development.

Why We Built Finnly

Through Crina's 15+ years leading finance teams at SaaS companies and Marc's experience as a venture-backed founder, product builder, and lawyer advising AI-driven startups, we saw the same pattern: talented accounting and finance professionals worried about AI replacing their roles. Instead of leaving peers to compete alone, we combined Crina's deep finance expertise with Marc's technical and legal background to build Finnly—a place where professionals help each other master AI, share knowledge, source work, and future-proof their careers together.
